Veterinarian - The Townsville Veterinary Clinic and North Queensland Specialist Equine Service would like to extend an offer for a small animal / equine veterinarian to join our team of 8 other veterinarians.

The Townsville Veterinary Clinic is purpose built with full hospital facilities for small animal and equine patients. The practice is computerised and fully equipped. The case-load is mixed with a strong emphasis on small animal and equine services. In addition to primary accession work the practice has a significant referral equine caseload. The practice is an active participant in the veterinary undergraduate degree course at James Cook University.

This position is somewhat flexible but would entail working within both the small animal and equine practices. Previous experience is not essential and new or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Standard holiday and study leave entitlements apply, after hours is on a rotational basis with ample support provided by senior veterinarians. Starting salary is commensurate with experience and above award with after-hours bonuses paid and normal superannuation entitlements.
